All 2021 VIDF livestream performances are free, a choice we have made in light of the economic impact of the pandemic. By livestreaming our program, the VIDF is providing opportunities for dance artists to adapt and sustain their practice and for audiences to experience their work from new perspectives. For the first time since our beginnings, the VIDF invited dance artists to apply for the 2021 festival through an open call process. Each selected artist has been provided a residency, production support and professional fees to transform their choreography for the camera. Please consider making a donation to support our work.
