“Dance was not my strong interest, but the scenes of Butoh in Cherry Blossoms by Doris Dörrie made a lasting impression on me. I was attracted to the dance not only by its beauty itself, but also the spirituality. Another movie, Pina also compelled me to consider what motivates one to dance. I am now happily working to support dance artists through my work.”
