Joe InkRetrospective: 25 Years
Choreographer Joe Laughlin revisits some of his most popular works in an evening celebrating 25 years of making quirky, lyrical and imaginative dance. Harold, Billy, Stan and Jack (1997) is an athletic quartet exploring masculinity, set to film noir music by Ennio Morricone. In Left (2003) a man comes to terms with his life in a tightly focused pas de deux – with a teacup. An excerpt from the elegiac dusk (2011) completes the program.
Choreography: Joe Laughlin
Performance: Karissa Barry, Katherine Cowie, Heather Dotto, Tara Dyberg, Kevin Tookey
Music: Ennio Morricone (Harold, Billy, Stan and Jack), Diferencias Sobre Las Folias by Antonio Martìn y Coll (Left), Jesse Zubot (Dusk)
